Welcome to the John Smith Rock Festival campsite!
It is said that a genuine festival experience is gained only after one has spent the festival staying in a tent or caravan. No further comments on this argument, our camping accommodation is a very good option! We strive to plan the campsite with customers in mind so that the accommodation would be smooth and safe for everyone who arrives.

Campsite areas
John Smith Rock Festival campsite is temporarily built just for festival accommodation and it consists two separate areas. These areas are Camp Sarcophagus (tent-area), and Planet Karavan (caravan area + caravan area with electricity) on a field. Both campsite areas are near, tent area is right next to festival area and caravan areas are just a few hundred meters from the festival area.
The campsites are only for the John Smith Rock Festival customers. In other words, you can only access the campsites with the festival wristband and personal camping wristband.
Changes in the caravan area
After last year´s change of location Planet Karavan, the heaven for campers and caravans is back at its old location, leveled and smooth as silk!
As promised last summer, Planet Karavan has now gone through some major changes…
The repentant JSRF moles have been re-filling the holes they´ve made, and ”measure men” have also done their job, so if you´re keen to take a leap into the horizontal heaven, please do so!
General info
We will update this page with additional information about the campsite’s services and other relevant information along the way!
Each person staying at the campsite area must buy their own personal camping wristband.
Those visiting the campsite also need an accommodation wristband, even if they are not staying there. The camping wristband entitles you to access the Peurunka spa during the event, within the spa’s opening hours.
We will send everyone who bought a caravan place or tent place, an info letter by email before the event.
If you plan to arrive with a vehicle larger than a normal camper/caravan, please contact Nina(at)ext.fi in advance.
