As spring warms the climate aboard the Victoria I, it will cool again for a moment on 11–12 April 2026, when Mr. Smith—firmly established on the rock festival map—brings his new launch to the Baltic Sea:
the JOHN SMITH goes AHTOJÄÄ cruise.
The departure point is Helsinki West Harbour, the turning point Tallinn, and the final destination the very same starting point – West Harbour.
During this 22-hour cruise, the decks and cabins will be filled exclusively with AHTOJÄÄ cruisers and, above all, metallic melodies.
Taking the stage are bands and artists from the stars of the Finnish rock universe: the legendary power metal giant with dozens of hits, Stratovarius; the delightfully entertaining Steve’n’Seagulls, performing classics and their own material; one of Finland’s most ferocious live acts, Mokoma; and the incomparable lightener of a spiritually heavy second day, Raskasta Kakkospäivää, assembled by Erkka Korhonen.
In addition, there will be side programming around the ship for the entire duration of the cruise—literally nonstop—since the ship’s bars may remain open around the clock and entertainment continues for twenty-two hours straight.
Yes, you read that correctly: 22 hours in a row!
And if a foggy Tallinn morning sounds tempting—and who wouldn’t be tempted—the event schedule allows for a quick four-hour visit ashore.

Note! You will need either a passport or an EU ID card issued by the police, even if you do not disembark in Tallinn.
The age limit for the cruise is 18.
The right to make program changes is reserved.
JOHN SMITH goes AHTOJÄÄ cruise is organized in cooperation by John Smith Rock Festival, LIVE Risteilyt, and Matkapojat.
